Hello, my name is Matt. My business partner Mark and I created FitVents after having the same reoccurring problem time after time. After flipping about a dozen houses as well as managing our rental units, we kept coming across the same problem. After we had taken the vent register covers off in order to paint we had trouble reinstalling them as the drywall was compromised. With no where to screw into and no backing these vents just wouldn't stay in. As we researched we realized how many people struggled with this very problem. From ceiling and wall vents hanging out, to children and pets pulling vents out, and stuffing food, toys, etc down the hole, we knew there had to be a better way.
After realizing there was nothing on the market we decided to take it into our own hands. That's when we patented the very first "friction fit" ceiling, wall and floor vent. After a year of designs, 3D modeling, prototypes and now having a full on manufacturer with our own moulds we officially have product in our warehouse to sell. Our friction fit ceiling, wall and floor vent is not only of the highest quality but also has had incredible thought put into the design which allows any user to install in seconds with NO tools and NO hardware. Simply squeeze, install and you're done.
We officially launched about 2 months ago and are already in a Rona store and a few Home Hardware stores. We are expanding daily and have had great positive feedback and are ready to help people save time and make life easier with our exciting new product. This is a glimpse into the past of how FitVents came to life so stay tuned for tips, behind the scenes and other exciting news to come.
